Thinking about musicians discovered at Sundance this year; for me, seeing Spike Lee's Passing Strange was a revelation!! I was completely unfamiliar with the Broadway show, Stew and Heidi, or their band, the Negro Problem. Hearing the music for the first time, and experiencing the show through Spike's masterful lens was transcendant. Don't miss it when it becomes available later this summer via IFC and eventually PBS.
